These are intended only for patients who are unable, because of their medical condition, to attend the practice. Where possible a home visit should be requested before 10:00.

Please be prepared to give brief details of the problem so that you can be given appropriate priority. It is possible that the duty doctor of the day will contact you by telephone prior to the visit, in order to access the urgency of the visit.

Your doctor can usually see several patients at the surgery in the time that it takes to make a single house call.
